He jumped curbs with it, went on some trails on the bike with plenty of rocks, rode it on the grass, and mostly on the street. It was great! It held up for over a year with my son riding roughly. One time he tightened the front brake way too much and the break mechanism snapped. The rear brake worked well but we got him a new bike anyway that was 24". Overall the bike is great and if you ride it only on the street,grass, and casual trails it should be good for years and ride well. The front shocks absorb well and are soft suspension. The rear shock however is regular. I highly recommend you get this bike, my son loved it!
