After riding a full suspension mountain bike for years, this thing is fast and responsive and gets the best out of a racing style bike with staright bars.
The gears and brakes are not top of the range by far, but work really well.
Overall a great bike if you are not a Brand name parts snob!!
With a few additions this bike looks and handles like something 4 times the price

This Forge M Street bike is perfect for commuters and fitness performance riders alike. The alloy rigid fork and seat post are designed to eliminate bobbing in order to handle the unpredictable road while enabling a faster ride. Aluminum double-butted frame is light and strong with storage rack and fender mounts, Shimano 21-speed rear derailleur, Shimano front derailleur and Shimano Trigger Shifters and a creative design combine to meet any rider’s needs. The ergonomically designed frame and flat handlebars with an adjustable threadless stem provide an upright riding position for performance and a comfortable ride. Kenda 700x32C tires are perfect for coasting on asphalt while the Tektro alloy linear-pull brakes provide responsive stopping. Whether for fitness or fun, going from the library to the park, the office to the coffee shop, or out of town for the day, escape the rush with Forge M Street. 19" frame stands over 30.8H" fits most riders 5’9" to 6’1". Note: Frame size is determined by measuring the distance from the center of the bottom bracket (the bolt that locks in the crank) to the top of the seat tube. Stand-over height is determined by measuring the distance from the ground to the top tube. A bike that you ride only on paved surfaces and never take off road should give you a minimum stand-over height clearance of 2", a bike that you ride on unpaved surfaces should give you a minimum of 3" of stand-over height clearance and a bike that you ride off road should give you a minimum of 4" of stand-over height clearance.
