(More customer reviews)I researched every possible web site imaginable to find the best power rack for the money. i was willing to spend up to 1500 for a quality rack. This was the top rated rack in almost every category under 2000. it is absoluty sturdy as a rock, when doing pull ups, or dips. you don't have to load weights on a bar to accomplish this, as it is very sturdy on its own. the spotting bars have a nice padding on the top of them, so you don't have to hear clanging if you come in contact with them and the weight bar. the rack arrived very quickly, had some minor issues with some of the equipment (pull up bar padding loose, dip bar engraved grip missing) but powertec was quick to send out replacement parts at no cost to me! definetly happy with my new addition to my home gym.

The ultimate free weight training system, the Powertec WB-PR10-B Workbench Power Rack provides a safe method of performing nearly every major barbell power exercise, including squats, rows, dead lifts, and all other pressing movements. The Power Rack is a cage-shaped apparatus with adjustable spotting bars along the sides, giving you a spotter should your squats or dead lifts prove too heavy. In addition, the rack includes both a chin-up bar and dip bars at no additional cost, so you can strengthen your back and triceps without using dumbbells or other free weights. And by adding other optional accessories--such as a lat tower or utility bench (sold separately)--you can perform even more exercises. The lat tower provides a high/low pulley system ideal for back exercises, arm curls, and more, while the utility bench opens up the machine to bench presses, shoulder presses, and other upper body workouts.
Other features include innovative gravity-lock catches to ensure safety at all times; a number system for quick adjustments; and an access tube and knob lock pin that supports the utility bench. The Power Rack--which supports up to 1,000 pounds (rack) and 400 pounds (chin-up and dip bars)--measures 50 by 79 by 49 inches (W x H x D).
