Receipt -I ordered this bike from Amazon last weekend and it was delivered yesterday (Friday). It was boxed on a crate which the freight company delivered to my garage. The box was in very good condition with no external damage. I opened the box and everything was well packaged. I took all the pieces (2 boxes, seat and back cushions, and another 5 or so large pieces) to my basement, without any real trouble. I opened the one box with all fasteners and instructions. The instructions are about 9 pages of front and back loose leaf paper. There is no narrative with the instructions, just pictures, which is very well laid out. Each picture shows two to four fastening requirements. There is no order that needs to be followed within each page, but follow the page order. Just make sure you connect all the electrical connections before you fasten the frame pieces together. On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being impossible to assemble) I would rate the assembly a 3 or less. This unit was probably one of the easier things I have assembled in a long time especially without any narrative instructions on how to do so.
Operation - I have used the unit twice since assembly. The unit is very quiet, virtually nonexistent noise. The swing arm is a HUGE plus to be out of the way if wanting to watch TV. The bike is very solid.
Comfort - I wish the seat was a little more comfortable, but I can easily live with that.
Recommendation - I order a lot of things through Amazon and have never had an issue. I would highly recommend purchasing this bike and ordering it through Amazon as my experience was first class.
PS - I am not easy to please as I have high expectations when I purchase things.

Get fit without straining your back or suffering from saddle sore with the Fitnex R50-S recumbent exercise bike. A bike that looks as good as it works, the R50-S is remarkably easy to use, with an exclusive swing-arm design that allows for quick entry and exit. The swing arm is attached to the information console, which includes dot matrix and LED displays that track the watts, speed, average speed, rpm, distance, calories, heart rate, program level, and time. Should you want to view and operate the console in the traditional position, simply swing the arm back to the starting point once you sit down and you're set. However, you can also keep the swing arm on your right side, giving you an unobstructed forward view--a handy option should you want to watch TV while riding.
The R50-S offers a challenge for both beginning and advanced riders, with 16 magnetic resistance levels controlled by a Servo motor. And riders can choose from among six different programs--manual, interval, rolling, weight loss, racing, and heart rate control--to vary their workout routines. About Recumbent Exercise Bikes Despite the competition from trendy new fitness inventions, exercise bikes continue to be popular options for home exercise. They offer the same aerobic benefits of riding a bicycle at any time, in any weather, without leaving the comfort and safety of home. Exercise bikes don't take up much space, require little or no balance or coordination, and can provide an effective workout for all levels of users, from beginners to serious competitors. While the same could be said for a number of other types of home fitness equipment, the exercise bike is one of the few that allows you to watch television or read a magazine while you work out.
The term recumbent literally means "lying down." Exercising in a recumbent or reclining position allows the user to have full ergonomic back support, without causing strain on the arms, neck and shoulders, all of which can be common effects of using an upright bicycle. For many people, having convenient access to quality exercise equipment is critical to sticking with a long-term exercise program.
