(More customer reviews)Overall a good purchase, this jacket is very lightweight and does a nice job blocking the elements during everyday use.
Some things I would note:
1. It is not as well-insulated as some other softshell jackets. It makes up for this by being very lightweight, but if it's cold out be prepared to wear a fleece underneath. I bring it along backpacking and I appreciate how lightweight it is. With a nice fleece underneath, it kept me warm walking around town in 15-20 degree weather over the winter. By itself it's probably perfect for daily use in 35-50 degree weather.
2. If you are out in rain for a while, it will soak through within a few minutes. It will keep you dry running around town to and from your car, but don't expect much more.

Aside from being loaded with all the cool, techy stuff (ultra-breathable, water-resistant, windproof shell and fleece lining to keep you warm) the Outdoor Research Men's Credo Softshell Jacket looks good. Brooks Men's Adrenaline GTS 8 Running Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)I used to think I couldn't be a runner. Every time I'd run, my ankles and shins would burn so bad I'd have to stop after a few minutes. I'm in great shape too, it just didn't make sense. Well, turns out I just wasn't wearing the right shoes.
I went to a sporting goods store and got custom fitted and had my pronation profiled and all that, and they sold me the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8. Not only is this shoe comfortable and affordable, I can actually run now without having to stop because of ankle/shin pain.
Highly recommended shoe, but definitely try it on before you buy it to make sure it's right for you.

Brooks Men's Beast Running Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)I went through every brand of running shoes . I am tall and have a large frame and I tend to go through running shoes rather quickly. When I discovered Brooks about 4 years ago it was Heaven sent. Yes these shoes are expensive compared to others but you get your moneys' worth and hey spend money are your feet! We abuse them everyday. They suppport my whole foot and I have not lost any toenails as with others. I now run for fitness and not races. These shoes last me about 6 months. So if you are in searching mode I HIGHLY recommend these shoes.
