When I was shopping for a weight machine I could find no reviews on the G8I. Now that I've used one for a while I thought I should provide one.
I was first attracted to the G8I because of its size. At 6'6" many machines are too small for me. This one isn't. It feels right for me. Assembly is straightforward and pretty intuitive. I use it for circuit training for which the machine works very well. adjustments are made very quickly and easily. The machine doesn't interfere with the momentum of the session. The actions are smooth and silent. The machine handles almost everything I need very well including deadlifts. The one exception is squats (I don't have space for the optional leg press), which I do with free weights. I don't mind. I still like the feel of free weights. Overall I'm impressed with the machine.
Update: It's been 11 months, and I'm still using the machine. Made some space and picked up the leg press (haven't touched the free weights in months). Using it with less intensity now but 6 days a week and in conjunction with other equipment. Extremely pleased with this machine.

Built around a set of 3D independent motion arms that let you work both the primary (targeted) muscles and secondary (stabilizer) muscles, the G8I is the most complete Iso-Flex home gym available. The unique Iso-Flex arms make it easy to work out almost every major muscle group, offering such exercises as chest presses, shoulder presses, pectoral flies, and resistance ab crunches. You don't even have to get up to change exercises--just reach around, move the selector pin, and keep going. In addition, the G8I offers a swiveling dual pulley lat station for performing conventional pulldowns, independent crossover, or diverging pulldowns, along with an adjustable DuraFirm back pad with a lumbar support that's comfortable and balanced, helping you isolate your mid and lower lats for a more targeted workout.
The G8I is smooth and comfortable thanks to the friction-free SmoothGlide bearing system, which offers a biomechanically accurate pivot point. The leg developer station also boasts an integrated CAM that prevents resistance drop-off at the end of the exercise movement. This provides consistent resistance throughout the full range of motion. Add in such features as a 210-pound weight stack for added resistance and an adjustable seated row foot brace and you have everything you need to whip yourself into shape in no time. Construction details include 2,200-pound, tension-strength steel aircraft cables with swiveling ends; 4.5-inch pulleys made of impact-resistance, fiberglass-reinforced nylon with precision-machined steel ball bearings; and an 11-gauge mainframe construction that ensures maximum strength, function, and durability.
The G8I includes two stirrup handles, a lat bar, a revolving straight bar, an ankle strap, an ab/triceps strap, a full-size exercise chart, a handy water bottle and towel holder, and Body Solid's Total Body Workout DVD. The G8I measures 73 by 83.5 by 85 inches (W x H x D) by itself and 98 by 83.5 by 90 inches with the leg press option attached. It also carries Body Solid's lifetime warranty.
