(More customer reviews)This jacket is supple, soft, and comfortable. It fits more like a lined jersey than a jacket, and yet its thermal properties are superlative. It retains heat while deflecting wind and venting perspiration. Other jackets that do not have adequate venting become clammy inside. The Sugoi RS Zero keeps you incredibly warm while simultaneously wicking away moisture. I wore this jacket on a cold ride in Oberlin Ohio last weekend, with a merino wool sweater underneath. It was 34 degrees when we started, and I may have been too warm with the Sugoi. Naturally, some people feel the wind and cold more than others, and one cannot ensure that every cyclist will be immune to freezing temperatures with this jacket. I suspect the jacket will be warm enough for most even when the temperature drops down to the 40s and 30s (perhaps lower?), so long as they wear the kind of base layer that properly insulates and allows for evaporation. (Cotton, for example, will remain wet and become cold....) This is the most amazing jacket that I have tried, though my experience is subjective of course. I do, however, believe it is pretty sugoi (Japanese, for stupendous)....
