(More customer reviews)I was thinking about giving this review 4 stars because I am disappointed about the fact that you are unable to buy the Mir Pro+ vest on Amazon from Mir. From looking at their site there is only a difference in $10 between them. I was aware of the fact before I purchased this one from Amazon, however most of the purchase of this vest was paid with Amazon gift cards. The Mir Pro vest is able to hold a maximum amount of weight of 90lbs, but for another $10 you can get the Mir Pro+ vest which is able to hold up to 140lbs. Unfortunately, Mir did not afford me the opportunity to purchase their Mir Pro+ vest. For most people a maximum of 90lbs would be more than they would be able to carry, but I am not most people and use this type of product 4+ times a week. The Mir Pro vest is a great vest for anyone looking to take their workout to the next level. It is made of quality materials and has a lifetime warranty on the vest and I don't see it ever falling apart. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that loves working out and would use it often. I use it while lifting weights, hiking, jogging, and playing basketball. It will make your legs stronger and you will be able to sprint faster. I hiked 8 miles with this vest and got a nice workout.

(More customer reviews)I have a 40lb. xvest and wanted to get a weight vest that could handle more weight. The price was right for the 80lb. ZFO, much cheaper than the heavier xvest. The ZFO was delivered an astonishing two days after I ordered it.
As to the details, the ZFO vest is very similar in design to the xvest, a padded clam-shell design, in this case the weights are not 1-lb. iron rods as in the xvest, they are 4-lb. tightly packed bars of sand (in completely enclosed sleeves) that can be slipped into the many pockets on the back and front (two rows on each side) of the vest. So there are twenty of these bars and twenty pockets. Each row has a flap that you velcro fasten over the pockets and there are two straps with connectors and velcro that you use to secure the vest to your body. You can adjust the length of the straps to get the fit you want. The fabric of the vest is thick and strong (again, similar to the xvest) and the quality is good.
I'm happy with the purchase, but a complaint...the two boxes the ZFO come in had no instructions (and there are none on the website) for how you put the vest together, no suggestions as to how to use it (the xvest website is very helpful for suggestions as to the safe, proper use of a weight vest), and no suggestions for maintenance and cleaning!
This didn't bother me as I was already pretty knowledge from having used the xvest. Still, what would it hurt to give the buyer a little guidance? Shame!

(More customer reviews)There are many on the market, but very few are full upper body vests nor do they have the big velcro straps across the front. The velcro straps help remind you to use perfect body mechanics when working out (so ya don't blow your back out), offer great support and adjust to any size. A very secure vest, once it is in place it is not going anywhere. I use mine with my hour long cardio training, personal training sessions and workout videos. Not for a beginner, but an excellent investment for someone looking for alternatives for plateau busters.
