Hubby has used them for so long now and they are very comfortable, though they have too much white on them.
They have withstood the test of time, walking, running, hiking, hunting, fishing etc
I bought him two pairs..and since they were worn out(though he still wears them and they show no signs of wear and tear), I decided to get him a third pair..only to find they have been replaced by the 558
So I bought his his usual size 12 and what do you know?They do not fit..they are a trifle small..even though they looked as comfortable as the 557s. I wonder how this has come to be
Anyway, now I cannot find a 558 in a bigger size so we are switching to another kind

Pros. Excellent shock absorption
Great for hot environments, breath really well
Cons. A bit heavier then the running shoes I'm used to, but over all not that bad in weight.
A bit pricey for running shoes, Might have to do a follow up review when I see how long these things last.
Overall good product from UK Gear.

She has actually outrun several pairs of these shoes and always wants to replace them with the same product as she swears that these shoes are the best. I figure anyone who runs 6 miles a day would know a good shoe's construction and comfort and the Brooks Women's Trance 7 Running Shoe is her shoe of choice.

Brooks Men's Adrenaline GTS 8 Running Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)I used to think I couldn't be a runner. Every time I'd run, my ankles and shins would burn so bad I'd have to stop after a few minutes. I'm in great shape too, it just didn't make sense. Well, turns out I just wasn't wearing the right shoes.
I went to a sporting goods store and got custom fitted and had my pronation profiled and all that, and they sold me the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8. Not only is this shoe comfortable and affordable, I can actually run now without having to stop because of ankle/shin pain.
Highly recommended shoe, but definitely try it on before you buy it to make sure it's right for you.

ASICS Women's GEL-Nimbus 11 Running Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)The Nimbus 11 is a great improvement on the already-fabulous Nimbus line of running shoes. I upgraded to this shoe after I started experiencing knee pain from my well-worn Nimbus 9's. I love the improvements in this shoe -- the lighter weight, cooler colors and asymmetrical lacing pattern which takes the laces slightly on a diagonal to match the natural contour of the foot rather than digging in to the top of the foot like some shoes do. I have virtually eliminated my knee pain since wearing these and have had no blisters or other foot issues. They feel great and I am very happy with the Asics Nimbus line of shoes. I also found that ordered 1/2 size up is a very good idea. Great running shoe!

I'm 6ft and 92kg with mild pronation so this is exactly what I need to help prevent injuries. Anyone coming from the 2130 shoes will not be disappointed. So far I think it's even better than the current Kayano.

(More customer reviews)These shoes look great! I like the sleek look of the shoe. When I first tried them on they felt good but when I worked out in them the material gave a lot. Sort of like genuine leather, the material is synthetic but feels like real leather. So they run a little big maybe a 1/2 size. The back of my heel was slipping during my workout.
They have great cushion, I had the setting on Train which is the low cushion setting and they felt good. The problem I had was when I pushed the Run setting, the air cushion is supposed to raise in the heel and the forefoot but I barely felt any change. I think one of the shoes did not even inflate.

(More customer reviews)I use this shoe on both elliptical trainer and in step class. The cushioning in the ball of the foot is good. They seem to run a little long, I had to get 1/2 size smaller than my other exercise shoes. The width seems normal. I have narrow feet and most shoes slip on my heels, but these do not slip at all. They also accommodate my "Good Feet" orthotics. But I still need an extra insole to tighten the fit. I felt funny walking in them for the first few minutes. My legs were definitely more tired after exercising for the first few days. They are now my preferred exercise shoe.

No amount of sprays, baking soda, etc helps and I am very disappointed. They were purchased for a foreign trip which involves a great deal of walking, but I dare not pack them lest all of my clothes pick up the odor. It is simply too much hassle to send them back.

ASICS Men's GEL-Kayano 15 Running Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)I have run in Kayanos for the past 5 years, and each year I nervously try the new model only to find it is as good if not better than the last. I read quite a few reviews for the Kayano 15 and I was more nervous than ususal because there were a few comments about a new feel, the effect of the different lacing pattern on the toe box, etc. I have now been running in 15s for the past few months and I can safely say that for me these shoes are as good if not better than the 14s. I have not noticed any discomfort, and this shoe seems to fit me just a bit better than the 14s. A shoe review is certainly subjective, and no shoe seems to fit everyone the same way, but I'm 6'0" and 195 and I run moderate distances on a weekly basis and the fit and stability of the Kayano 15 has been perfect for me. I just hope I can say the same for the 16s when I need to replace my 15s later this year!
Update (9-4-09) Just a brief update. I can confirm my earlier comments and recommendation for the 15. The shoe has worn very well, and I never experienced any issues with them. I increased my mileage over the past couple months (training for marathon) so I can report that they are just as effective for me at short distances as they are for long.

(More customer reviews)I started running seriously a little over 20 years ago, and when I came upon Saucony Shadow 6000, I never looked back at any other shoe. I LOVE these and have probably gone through at least a dozen pairs! I have run several triathlons in them, a couple half-marathons, tons of 10K's, and have hiked in them as well! When they get too old to use anymore for running, I use them when I work out in the yard. Bottom line: a very stable platform with good heel cushioning, comfortable upper, and just a fantastic shoe! I happen to really like the way they look, but they are so white when they come out of the box, I like them best after they get a little wear on them and don't stand out so much. After a while they take on a more grey or off-white look. I hope they NEVER quit making this shoe. They threatened to a few years ago, but the customers cried out and they changed their minds.
