When i got these shoes, i had a sore tendon in my foot and was concerned how supportive these shoes will be, when i play. These shoes really held my feet tight and just gave me the confidence to move around more freely. The support for my sore heel was also great, i had not issues. Very happy with my purchase. Went blue, as it's my fav. color.

(More customer reviews)I ordered these shoes as a splurge for myself. I am very happy with them so far. I have worn them on the treadmill and elliptical. They are very stable and supportive. I was not sure about running barefoot, but they are very comfortable without socks and my feet don't slide around in them when sweaty. Weather here is still pretty chilly, so I haven't had them out beating the pavement, yet.

Brooks Men's Adrenaline GTS 8 Running Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)I used to think I couldn't be a runner. Every time I'd run, my ankles and shins would burn so bad I'd have to stop after a few minutes. I'm in great shape too, it just didn't make sense. Well, turns out I just wasn't wearing the right shoes.
I went to a sporting goods store and got custom fitted and had my pronation profiled and all that, and they sold me the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8. Not only is this shoe comfortable and affordable, I can actually run now without having to stop because of ankle/shin pain.
Highly recommended shoe, but definitely try it on before you buy it to make sure it's right for you.

(More customer reviews)I went through every brand of running shoes . I am tall and have a large frame and I tend to go through running shoes rather quickly. When I discovered Brooks about 4 years ago it was Heaven sent. Yes these shoes are expensive compared to others but you get your moneys' worth and hey spend money are your feet! We abuse them everyday. They suppport my whole foot and I have not lost any toenails as with others. I now run for fitness and not races. These shoes last me about 6 months. So if you are in searching mode I HIGHLY recommend these shoes.

(More customer reviews)The Nimbus 11 is a great improvement on the already-fabulous Nimbus line of running shoes. I upgraded to this shoe after I started experiencing knee pain from my well-worn Nimbus 9's. I love the improvements in this shoe -- the lighter weight, cooler colors and asymmetrical lacing pattern which takes the laces slightly on a diagonal to match the natural contour of the foot rather than digging in to the top of the foot like some shoes do. I have virtually eliminated my knee pain since wearing these and have had no blisters or other foot issues. They feel great and I am very happy with the Asics Nimbus line of shoes. I also found that ordered 1/2 size up is a very good idea. Great running shoe!

I'm 6ft and 92kg with mild pronation so this is exactly what I need to help prevent injuries. Anyone coming from the 2130 shoes will not be disappointed. So far I think it's even better than the current Kayano.

ASICS Men's GEL-Kayano 15 Running Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)I have run in Kayanos for the past 5 years, and each year I nervously try the new model only to find it is as good if not better than the last. I read quite a few reviews for the Kayano 15 and I was more nervous than ususal because there were a few comments about a new feel, the effect of the different lacing pattern on the toe box, etc. I have now been running in 15s for the past few months and I can safely say that for me these shoes are as good if not better than the 14s. I have not noticed any discomfort, and this shoe seems to fit me just a bit better than the 14s. A shoe review is certainly subjective, and no shoe seems to fit everyone the same way, but I'm 6'0" and 195 and I run moderate distances on a weekly basis and the fit and stability of the Kayano 15 has been perfect for me. I just hope I can say the same for the 16s when I need to replace my 15s later this year!
Update (9-4-09) Just a brief update. I can confirm my earlier comments and recommendation for the 15. The shoe has worn very well, and I never experienced any issues with them. I increased my mileage over the past couple months (training for marathon) so I can report that they are just as effective for me at short distances as they are for long.

(More customer reviews)I started running seriously a little over 20 years ago, and when I came upon Saucony Shadow 6000, I never looked back at any other shoe. I LOVE these and have probably gone through at least a dozen pairs! I have run several triathlons in them, a couple half-marathons, tons of 10K's, and have hiked in them as well! When they get too old to use anymore for running, I use them when I work out in the yard. Bottom line: a very stable platform with good heel cushioning, comfortable upper, and just a fantastic shoe! I happen to really like the way they look, but they are so white when they come out of the box, I like them best after they get a little wear on them and don't stand out so much. After a while they take on a more grey or off-white look. I hope they NEVER quit making this shoe. They threatened to a few years ago, but the customers cried out and they changed their minds.

(More customer reviews)I bought this shoe, because I do a fair amount of high impact aerobic exercise (Tae Bo Boot Camp series, P90X, and Insanity). This shoe provides great cushion for my feet, and helps protect my knees when doing all that jumping and lateral movement. For awhile, I was just using my running shoes to do the aerobic exercise in, but after using this shoe, I noticed the balls of my feet didn't hurt anymore, as well as my knees. If you're looking for a good training shoe, this is the one to buy.
